While one portion of our updated network setup is fairly similar to certain parts of our HomeLAN layout (with the exception of two additional printers being added), the Mac mini-related area is nearly entirely new.

Regarding that section, the Mac mini uses our LCD TV as its monitor, connected via HDMI using a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter. The EyeTV Hybrid TV tuner allows recording of video from our satellite receiver to the Mac mini, which is then stored on its external hard drive or can be burned to DVD.

Any thoughts, questions, and/or feedback regarding this or any one of our network diagrams may be posted within our forum.
