While I (Joel) must admit that at first the purpose for my having my own web site was for personal enjoyment, now the primary reasons I have created and continue to maintain the web pages posted here is for my wife, our family, for visitors such as yourself, and above all (I hope and pray) to serve God. Perhaps this is only a small way in which I can help others and fulfill one of the Lord's purposes for my life, but I am very thankful for it. Today is my last day at work before I'll have about four weeks to spend at home with the other four members of my family. Four, you ask? Faith, Joy, Selah...and our newest baby! As I hope you can easily tell, our web site has undergone a little revamping. While the layout has pretty much remained the same our color scheme is different, additional info. and links have been added within the left and right columns of each page (including a Google site search option and Twitter display), and most notably we now have our own blog online. The "weblog" will allow quicker and easier posting of news and information to our site, hopefully resulting in much more frequent updates. So, while you should still check here on our main page for the most important updates to our site, be sure to visit our blog on a regular basis (and reference our Twitter "tweets" for up-to-the-minute status) to really know what is going on with our family.
